Also, is it just me or does it feel like it was January 1, 2017 yesterday?!? What happened to 2017? When looking back at 2017, I smile at all of the amazing people I met, my friends and family, and all of the phenomenal customers I get to do business with. I’m forever grateful for all of the opportunities, mentors, and advice I was given.
I’m so excited to share my New Year’s Eve dress with all of you that I picked out from the Cynthia Rowley Boutique in Atlanta a few weeks ago. It’s truly the most elegant holiday dress that I’ve ever seen or worn. I just love the deep neckline, metallic plaid, ruffles, fitted waist, and open back on this Cynthia Rowley dress. This dress runs pretty true to size. If you live in Atlanta, head on over to see our friends at the Cynthia Rowley Boutique at the Shops of Buckhead Atlanta. They have so many gorgeous holiday dresses, tops, and skirts for every budget. Don’t live in Atlanta? Then be sure to check out Cynthia Rowley online (be sure to check out their sale section here for up to 70% off). I’m wearing this dress that’s such a head-turner to ring in the new year with some friends at a black tie ball at the Fox Theatre. I’ve added some glam with my favorite mixed metal jewels, which match my mixed metallic vintage Chanel bag. Don’t forget to pick up a fun NYE party hat from Swoozie’s and get some Insta-worthy photos with some festive holiday balloons and backdrops.
I feel like New Years Resolutions are harder to keep the older that I get. This is why each year for the past few years, I’ve picked one word at the beginning of the year that I’ve focused on for that whole calendar year for both personal and business growth. For example, 2015 was “Acceptance,” 2016 was “Change,” and 2017 was “Persistence.” The word that I’m picking for 2018 is “Motivate.” I want to motivate and inspire others around me to become better and to do better. I want to encourage others to follow their passions and achieve their goals. For 2018, I encourage all of you to pick one word to focus on for the entire calendar year both for business and personal growth.
