As Coach Kirby Smart of UGA says, “Keep Chopping!”
I can’t believe how fast the college football season has gone by. It just seems like yesterday I was putting on my red & black for my first game as a UGA undergrad student, and today will be my last game as a UGA Law Dawg for what I like to call the “Civil War” in Atlanta against Georgia Tech! Today is definitely bittersweet, but I know that there are great and better things to come with my last semester of law school and graduation right around the corner. However, I’ll miss those $7 UGA student home football game tickets prices 😉 and cheering on the Dawgs with my fellow classmates.
Today, I’m doing a throwback to what I wore to my last UGA home football game last weekend against Kentucky: a red ruffle blazer, white peplum top, black distressed jeans, black booties, a black tote (I switched to a clear bag before heading to the game), and a black and gold watch. The most important part of a gameday outfit (especially at UGA) isn’t just looking cute but it’s wearing comfortable shoes that you can walk miles in since you have to pretty much walk everywhere on gameday in Athens. Our stadium is close to a mile from our downtown area with bars, restaurants, and cute shops. I tailgated with my parents and some of our friends before the last game, which was so much fun.
Go Dawgs, and Wreck Tech!
