Motif Seattle & Pike Place MarketLocation: Seattle, WA • 13 Jul
I recently returned from a fabulous family trip to Seattle. If you haven’t been to Seattle, I definitely recommend going one day because the food, people, and shopping is fabulous.
Pike Place Market:
One of my favorite places I visited in Seattle was Pike Place Market, which is a farmer’s market with fresh fruits, vegetables, fish, flowers, bread, etc. I wish I could live in Pike Place Market because it’s such a magical place…just look through my pictures below to see for yourself!
Outfit Details: striped dress (sold out), similar here and here // black leggings // Levi’s denim jacket // white Converse shoes // Louis Vuitton Speedy // Swarovski crystal stud earrings // Gucci sunglasses // c/o Kendra Scott ring
While you’re walking around the Market, I suggest taking a stroll down Post Alley to see Seattle’s famous Gum Wall. Yes, you heard me right–gum wall, where people leave their mark on a wall by disposing of their gum. The smell is pungent, so I recommend snapping a few quick photos, then going on your way!
While we were in Seattle, we stayed at the Motif Seattle hotel on 5th Ave near Pike St. I was originally attracted to the hotel because of it’s modern interior and exterior design!
The location of this hotel could not have been better. It’s a few short blocks away from Pike Place Market, the waterfront, the Nordstrom flagship store (a must-go), and lots of great restaurants.
Both the interior and exterior decor of the hotel was modern. I loved the neutral furniture that was accented by lots of colorful artwork, lamps, and pillows. Our room was the perfect size for 3 people since it had two queen sized beds in it, a desk that I could do some work at, and a comfortable chair. The Motif Seattle had complimentary k-cup coffee and bottles of water in the room which were great to have every day. Our view from our room was everything since we could see the bay and the hustle and bustle of Pike Place Market.
The hotel offered complimentary wine tastings from 4-6 PM every day, which was a nice way to relax every evening before going out to dinner. There is also a really cool rooftop area as well, which I recommend checking out. It was really cool that we could see this rooftop area from our room!
The hotel staff was really friendly and provided us with some good information on some great restaurants and getting to the Seattle Space Needle via the Monorail. They even called us after we settled in our room to ask us if we needed anything, which I thought was a nice touch as well.
Hands down, I highly recommend staying at the Motif Seattle as the service, location, and rooms were fabulous. I loved the small touches that set this hotel apart from others such as the chic modern decor, complimentary wine tastings, and friendly staff. I look forward to staying at this hotel during my next visit to Seattle.
